NSW Labor Leader Michael Daley is so out-of-touch with reality he thinks the regions are the suburbs of Sydney.

Last week, Daley pulled out of a planned event, telling organisers he had to go to regional NSW, only to pop up in Bankstown instead. Granted, it is a fair drive from beach-side electorate of Maroubra, but south-western Sydney is hardly regional NSW. Next he’ll be visiting Manly, on the far-North Coast!

It puts paid to Daley’s claims that he knows all about the regions, when in reality NSW to him stands for Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong.

As for the event he failed to attend, Labor offered up Shadow Treasurer Ryan Park, only to be rebuffed because “no-one knows him”.
